The goal is to work with contrasts: locate the stronger, more powerful side of the performer, as well as their volatile, more fragile side. From which angles and how do these manifest themselves and how do they interact? How do these extreme contexts function and co-exist?

This work celebrates the „dancing body“, and  is dedicated to its inventiveness and   its capacity to engage in direct communication between instinct and action. At the very core is the desire to achieve a strong physicality which underlines the beauty and power of the body in motion.

Born in 1982, Anton Lachký started to dance at the age of 5, in the folk dance company Maly Vtácnik. He is a co-founder of Les SlovaKs Dance Collective whose first piece "Opening Night" had its premiere in October 2007.
He was a member of Akram Khan Company from March 2004 for two years touring  internationally with    "MA" (48 countries). As a choreographer, Anton Lachky created the pieces: "Blue Moon", "Water in the Mind" and "The Trip", which premiered in Belgium; as well as Twice Read, Heaven is the place and Softandhard.

The quality of Anton's work is reflected in the energy that the dancer is prompted to demonstrate, the clarity in addition to his originality. Combining his roots in the folklore tradition, with an exceptional individual transposition and adaptibility to contemporary dance, Anton's enthusiasm to generate movement is as unique as it is communicative. His unique voice is built upon his inspiration and fascination with the physicality of animals; the movement in his  choreographies is characterized as a fascinanting bestiality, while the body becomes the polymorphic centaur capable of constant transformation.
