The workshop is designed for musicians, actors, dancers and all those who are interested in exploring the possibilities of using voice through movement and is based on the implementation of the  Fitzmaurice Voicework®

The workshop offers an insight into the  implementation of the Fitzmaurice Voicework® as part of a larger exploration of movement and wellness. Using pleasure as a guiding principle, we will find a "dance" that comes from observing the sensations in the body and adjusting with and around those sensations. Participants will explore the voice as an intrinsic part of these sensations.  Prior experience is not a requirements.

Lee Su-Feh is a choreographer and one of the Artistic Directors of interdisciplinary . battery opera, based in Vancouver. Born and raised in Malaysia, she started performing in the National Children's Theatre (1980-82) where she was introduced to a range of practices, from traditional South-East Asian performance forms to more contemporary and experimental techniques and ideas. In 1985 she moved to Paris to study contemporary dance. Since 1987 she has trained extensively in Chinese martial arts with an emphasis on the internal systems, and presently studies Baguazhang (one of the major schools of internal martial arts, characterized by its complex study of spirals, circles and arcs).

Her most recent creations are her solo, "The Whole Beast", and her collaboration with Benoît Lachambre, "Body-Scan," which has been presented  at the Centre Pompidou in Paris and at the Festival Transamériques in Montréal, among others.
